I am Lissette Ortega, founder of the Spanish2tor program. I was born in Guatemala and moved to Antigua Guatemala with my family when the volunteer program in Antigua Guatemala started. The program was born after one of our founders Dr. Wilman Ortega developed a volunteering program for medical professionals in our native Antigua Guatemala. We gathered the best group of teachers and developed our own medical Spanish program. Over the last 12 years we have expanded our services to offer Spanish instruction to medical professionals and everyone in general. We are proud to be 100% native Spanish speakers and to offer a commitment to quality service to every single one of our students.
Through the volunteer’s program in Antigua Guatemala spanish2tor on line was born, this is a new program with which we can come where you are, with medical spanish classes on line and you can take your lessons wherever you want. I am currently work in the volunteer program that is open all year, teaching Spanish doctor (student-teacher), the program also works in local clinics with students to practice their Spanish and learn through the experience of communicating with the natives.
